Don't go wtih Flowmaster - they don't "flow" very well at all by CFM numbers. Go Magnaflow or some other straight-through.
Other than that, sounds great.
Did you look at the APN header, though? Cheaper than edelbrock & its built just the same as a Banks...

i have a used edelbrock thats only 6 months old.
what other muffler choices do you (or anyone) recomend?

i'd like to get a high flow cat with the O2 sensor on it like a stock one. but i dont want to order it. like to get it at a store locally. any cheap name brands?

There's more to flowmaster than the flow.

A magnaflow muffler is good for 2-4 good hits, and then its trash. A flowmaster is its own skid plate.. ;)

i believe thats the numbers. think he said it was a 94 head.
finally got all my stuff from the shop. just got to wait till a day its not raining to start putting it together.

with the parts i have does anyone thinki'll be able to run 87octain? or will i need to go with 89?

Dishing is making the current dish on the piston larger. Since you don't list your piston part number I assume it is one of the variety of 4.0L replacements coupled to the 258 rod, all of which has a fairly small dish for a stroker. Increasing the dish increased the combustion volume, lowering the compression ratio. What is your planned compression ratio and quench?
