Under front seat powered subwoofer?

Hey Gang!

No rear seats or room with the fridge and water system.
I'm looking for help/reviews/ideas for a powered sub to fit under the front passenger seat. I found these two:

I would make a cardboard box the same size as the sub and see if it fits first. There isn't a whole lot of room under the seats.

I think these type of pow subs came on Subaru Forresters, I remember looking for them one on Ebay and they were fairly cheap and people reported very good sound. I'm mentioning these because of lack of space under Forrester seats. I assume you have manual seats.

If it would fit under the passenger seat all the better.

Build a wooden mockup as the cardboard could collapse and give a false fit. Interesting idea.

A cardboard mock-up will suffice. I did the same thing when I was looking for a place to mount my zeitronix display.

I think that he is saying it could bend slightly and make you think that it fit, when you put the real deal in it won't bend like the cardboard would.

You could always carve a mock-up out of ham.

Poorly, I would imagine. The vibration may create a disconnect between the glaze and the ham proteins, causing improper adherence.
