Uncle Ronnie's Tax Idea

That's all you got from my response? If it is, you have proven my point.

I am not sure of your sincerity in a job at your company office here where I live.
Thanks if you are sincere.
I would in my disdain for "evil corporations", probably just conclude they are just another soul-less entity, who value shareholders more than employees, just like where I work.

The company is legit, as are the opportunities. If you truely feel that all corporations are evil, then perhaps self-employment is your best employment option?

I do have a very small business. It is more of a hobby, and I don't make or expect to make lots of money. Need to work for the man to pay bills. A job to me, is just a means to an end. I tried that whole pride in your job thing when I was younger. Then I wised up.

I work because I have to, but also because I've chosen a profession that allows me to earn good money, and with a company that pays well for exceeding their expectations.

I don't do what I do because I love to work, I like most about my job is that it allows me the freedom to support my family, finance my hobbies and to enjoy the things that I love to do. If want to earn more money, I simply need to apply more effort.

What would you consider a good job?

businesses can never be hobbies.

they are mutually exclusive.

I know because i own one.

Maybe one day you'll grow up, get married, buy a house, have a couple kids...and keep a job that'll help you maintain all that.

the world will look a bit different to you then, and if you're lucky....

you'll have a hobby.

I disagree. What about my retired uncles hobby farm. He actually makes money at it. Red Holsteins.
Hobbies can be businesses.
And I've been working in various technical positions for around 32 years.
My hobby just so happens to make a few extra dollars that I would not have otherwise had.

you can't be "retired" and "in business" at the same time. If he is engaged in a business, he's not eaxctly "retired" is he? Besides, a "few extra dollars" is not exactly a business...so, like I said....mutually exclusive.
