My Yellow Project: was contemplating a lot for this… maybe just moving the other stuff or maybe replacing. Here is the sale post I bought from http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1055698&highlight=penske+yellow
I have D60 and D44 HP for it but have done not much else since buying.

Just put the d60 and d44 in 'ol blue and sell me the axles out of it. I'm pretty sure I need to rebuild both of my axles.

I'll start at $2K each and work from there with spare parts included.

NOTE: the engine is out of the yellow as is drivetrain... just an FYI.

they are from a late 70's FORD HP D44 and D60 set from an older Ford with 4.10 gears the rear is welded but I have a brand new carrier for 4.56 + I have already purchased. The D60 has no brakes :( yet.

keep in mind guys the yellow one is pretty much gutted compared to the original pic that Rodger is using from the person that sold it to him. It does not have all the things still on it like in the original pics. It's on some 2wd axles to let it move around. Stocker tires, no bumpers, etc.. The sunroof is really cool, and does not leak. The previous owner striped alot before selling to Rodger. Had to add this Rodger as the pic you posted can be misleading being an old pic...

The yellow one is currently at my house so I can get current pics for them Rodger if you would like.

Rodger, have they started or done anything to that other motor yet? I know you wanted to have them make a stroker outta it, but didn't know if they started it yet or not...or finished it yet for that matter.

XJ ERIC, yes that is a light on the side. Some type of aviation style light as far as I can tell. As far as the plug your guess is as good as mine.

Nope nothing done to the engine except checking it out :(

The plug is for a military type DC connector is used for jump starting or being jump started. can handle the current. I guess it could be used to run other DC devices?

Yes, they are actually aircraft lights, the previous owner was a pilot... they are used as rock lights.

Jay if you could post a pic or two I'd appreciate it.

the drive system was 12V but had a second battery too. he was sponsored by hella so he had a lot of "Lights'

As jay said he kept a lot of that stuff for his new jeep project a CJ.

OK back from vacation and have found a 2001 parts jeep. So now I can finish my 2000 and maybe even the Yellow 87.

So want to move the blue 87... good truck for anyone off roading here in TX. Just not a great DD with the lockers and MT's.

Shout if you think we can deal...
