Planning a small group trip to tuttle creek for spring break. taking out some people that have never been. It's my first time to tuttle creek. We'll be there March 15 and 16th if anybody else is gonna be around. Mine is currently a red 96 with 1/4 guard taillights and Washington plates, but I might get it painted black before the trip. Just incase anyone wants to meet up.
I'm used to the northwest and so-cal chapters, they weren't as spread out and were able to get together as a group easier. Since i'm in KS again, thought i'd post up so if other NAXJA guys were plannin on being there, we could run some trails together.

that may work out. I will have to wait and see what the weather is like and if I will be swapping axles or not. If I don't make it then, my local club is going to be there 28-30th for a run and I might be going then.

might consider it, I am going to Winterfest a few weeks before that and I will have to see what the damage and $$ looks like by then.

I will plan on it. As long as i get my bumpers, stiffners, and cage done.

wow, quite a response. I'll have my own little group of mostly new guys with me, but it'd be awesome if I was able to meet up with some of u guys up there, maybe run a few things. I doubt you'd wanna follow us around all day though, cuz we'll probably be doing easy stuff mostly.

Have any of you guys camped up there? What's the best place to check out? We're makin a day trip up there soon to check out the wheelin and try and decide on a campground.

Has anyone been to Tuttle and Disney, OK? I'm going to Tuttle for the first time Sunday to see if it compares, otherwise we're going to Disney for Spring break instead. It's 2 more hours away, but so far it's the coolest place around here, IMO.

Any input would be appreciated.

I have ran Tuttle and it was a good time. Disney is mainly just rocks. It depends on what kind of wheeling your looking for. Tuttle is a mix of trails, rocks and mud (in places), and like I stated above, Disney is primarily rocks.

Disney the awsome. Disney is 1 extra hour but is so worth it. Don't get me wrong I like tuttle. But disney has an area just like tuttle, but also has a huge area of just rock. Big and little rocks.

I would come to tuttle for this trip but my rig is currently sitting without axles. But my tnt truss came in yesterday and my gears should be done sometime early next week. So I am not too far from being done. But far enough to know that I wont be done by the 15th.

checked out tuttle. not bad, but doesn't compare to Disney, IMO. Probably gonna go to Disney for spring break now. KSXJ, you're in kansas city, right? is that current? Just wonderin how far away you were. Disney is 4 hours from my house in Wichita, and tuttle was like, 2.5. Worth the extra drive, we've still got lots of stuff at Disney to explore. Let me know if your rig is up and running by March 14th.

Yep, still in KC. Tuttle is 2.5 and disney is 3.5. Definatly worth the extra drive. But tuttle is still has some things that I like. I plan on hitting the rock garden when I get my rid done. That will probably be where I test my rig first after getting it done. Since I know that park so well and been there so many times I will get a good idea of how much has changed and what I need to still change.

I am hoping to have it done by the end of next month. It could be done a lot sooner but I may have to work a couple weekends and that will slow me down.
