transfer case upgrade

i found a 21 spline NP 231 T-case w/PORC SYE kit installed locally for sale, it came out of a 1990 XJ 2-dr sport with an aw4 auto tranny.I would like to know if this will bolt into my 88 xj with a standard tranny. he is Not sure if the auto/std tranny's are different in spline or bolt pattern, so if anyone can tell me this would be a great help.
how many splines is my output shaft. what year did they switched it up ?

i cant asnwer your first question. but what do you mean is it worth it? Its a SYE kit that costs about 170 the last time I checked.

your 88 manual tranny(peugeot) has a 21 spline count, so yes it will work.

why are you getting a SYE if you dont know what it is?
