Tow Package???

I recently got my hands on a 95 Grand Cherokee. How can I tell if it came with the tow package? I need to know so that I can add a hitch and the correct wiring kit.

I'm thinking that this is one of those "Who is buried in Grant's Tomb?" kind of questions. If you need to add a hitch and wiring kit I'm thinking that doesn't have a tow package...right?

My '92 xj came with the tow package... it's pretty easy to tell... it has a hitch in the back and the correct wiring already built in.

see if the dealer will run your factory options. they should in order to get you the correct wiring harness. i think there are 2 different ones. they can check the accessory book to get you the right harness.
