Tools.....air or electirc

Oh, just wait until you get an air hammer, now that sucker is just plan ole' fun!

haha...exactly, forgot about that fun little guy. But be warned OP...air hammers are LOUD. I can't play with my air hammer at night or when the kids are in bed. But peeling nuts welded onto the top of the frame with your air hammer is good fun...

Whatcha breaking?

Started with trying to find a small leak in the radiator, then i thought i might as well remove the radiator to do some soldering while i'm at it, i thought why not install the tranny cooler which i got some time back.....and since the front is pretty much empty, i thought i might as well replace my harmonic balancer (which is pretty much shot) and maybe the timing chain since i'm gonna remove the balancer LMFAO!!!

It all started with trying out my new air tools lol.

I use my air chisel for masonry stuff. It's just plain awesome, especially since I need to repoint most of my foundation soon.

Oh and I got to use my compressor this weekend to spray my flat fenders with bedliner too.

I already find bedliner very addictive, I think it's only a matter of time until my entire Jeep is done in bedliner...but couple it with spraying it on with an air gun vs an aerosol can and it's quadruple the fun!

Figured I'd post a pic of my son's air compressor and air hammer since we've been talking air tools :)

Too bad my compressor aren't got enough pressure for spray paint.

Nice!

This thread is going a little off track....
:conceited "Air Tools Chat"....

You had asked previously about a drain valve...just thought I'd revive the thread and throw a couple pics in of how I did mine today. Works great.

The only issue is I noticed that the valve says it's max pressure is 90psi...and I noticed this AFTER I installed it, so I may go back and get one with a higher max pressure.

I have both because both are used in different ways for different reasons, Don't buy cheap whatever you do...
all my electric and Air tools are Snap on, they have years of service and just keep on going there is a reason for Home owner tools and professional tools

I was using my right angle air drill with a wire wheel to strip paint off a bicycle. I ran that thing full blast for extended periods with no trouble. If I had done that with my magnum hole shooter drill the thing would have been red hot with the prolong usage.

It was also nice my right angle drill is easily reversible so I was able to better control the wire when by going into reverse when needed.
