It was a great day, except for waking up at 4:45AM to get out on the trails. They funny thing was this was a rock dawgs run, but we made it into our own little NAXJA run. Me, JohnB, Gary, Dan, Bob, and Mark. There were 2 other jeeps with us in the SWB dept, but I think they were intmidated by us and left before we hit a trail. The group was great, and I had a great time.

It was all good minus for Mark getting stuck 3 times in 15 feet which equaled about 2 hours. Then John almost rolling them over by trying to recover them (we got a picture of that one)...that was quite funny. Then Mark got stuck AGAIN, and then Dan exploded his heater valve after getting him out. THEN Mark got a flat. What a day for Mark. He took it all well tough.

The snow made everything different...i.e. trees jumping out of no where and hitting Bob's bumper. I will have a few pictures my brother took on the digi camera in a few days. They are mostly of me and John Though...sorry guys. Yell at my brother.

BTW...in case you didn't know BFG at's > Super Swamper SSR's

At least I got to use all my recovery equipment... come-a-long, winch & strap, plus a spare tire. Got some new body damage to boot, so tree rails will definitely be included in my armor buildup.

This trip served to solidify my plans for the next suspension & drivetrain buildup phase... I really do need more ground clearance and lower gears.

I had a great time to. Thanks to John B. and the rest, for spotting me. I took some body damage also but the trees survived with no marks thank you. It was good to put faces to the names that post on the board. The great bunch of guys. Hope to get out again soon. I have not talk to Tim yet to let him now that GearWhine made a successful run up the hill where he broke is drive shaft.
