Time to help one of our own.

I just got an email update from the Lansdown Arms (the pub where the shearing will take place) -- party starts at 11am, with a parade for the kiddies at 12 (not sure how "parady" the parade will actually be, but with a couple of the cancer kids in it, so good to be loud and show support!). there will also be "sports demonstrations", a "kids carnaval" and "booths" -- not sure specificly what that means, but WTF, it'll be fun regardless.

They are planning on hosting the bald bastids like myself and our supporters until about 5pm, but say they will keep going as long as we want (i.e. $$ for :cheers -- not sure how lond we'll make it, but since Sheila is staying in HR that night for chemo the next morning, we'll likely tear it up a bit -- hope some of you want to do the same.

come drink to my about-to-be "fivehead", and support those whose haven't been as lucky with their health! You guys are the best, and thanks for your support! :worship::cheers::smootch:

Edit: PS -- for those of you that don't know, my father passed away last week after 86 incredible years, so if you want to come raise a glass to a true gentleman and a heck of a good guy... well, I guess I'd end up pretty tanked before it was all through if I drank his weight in gold! :cheers:

I think the only naxja member i have met is TRoy in spite of that i am really getting behing this Cause as i lost my Mom to cancer and my neice has had a radical masectomy at the age of 26, and as i was exposed to agent orange while in vietnam am at a great risk to get it , i have sent the Shiela and Evan's info out to a couple of vets websites i belong to and i hope it will help Jim
