Throttle Body VS. Spacer VS. Both

They're trying to be sneaky with the wording..."We don't charge an annoying core charge, but if you send us your stock rebuildable throttle body, we will refund you $50!" How is that different from a core charge? Basically it's a $110 TB with a $50 core charge..Pay them $160, send your old one back, get $50 returned. :dunno:

I think that's much better than some that advertise the product for 110 for instance then when you get the bill it's 160 because they charge a core fee. I know I'm giving their asking price and don't have to screw with a core but if I do I get it cheaper...

Everyone on here has hit the nail on the head. do the '99+ manifold swap, bore your TB and get some headers.

i have a '94 4.0, K&N FIPK2, gibson headers, kink free downpipe, ported/polished 99+ manifold, 60mm bored TB (took out the taper), hi-flow CAT, thrush glasspack, 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust, and ported/polished head.

Total Gains: at MAX, ~10-15hp, ~10-20fT/LB torque and 4-7mpg, and lots of throttle response. (no dyno, so only make minimal fun of my guestimates)

All in all, it's a freaking 4.0L slug motor.
Stroke it for power, and buy a Honda for MPG.
