I got my q? answered. I called Tom Woods and spoke to Josh. He said that the short sye was more for wranglers and the Tom Woods heavy duty sye was for those who might go to 1 ton drive shafts. I went with advanced adapters because I won't go 1 ton axles and I will only ever run the 4.0. BAM! Question answered.
