Those near Craig

Trying to use this snow day wisey and start looking at some possible routes for my summer explorations. I'm looking to spend as much time as humanly possible on the road and in the northwest US. I'm interested in staying off the beaten path. There is a small road (318) that is just west of the town of Maybell. It heads north into Wyoming where it turns into Clay Basin Road. I'd like to know what this road is like. My GPS software shows it but then it turns to a dotted line and I want to know if this is a 4x4 trail or what? This road is on one of the routes I'm planning so far. I like it b/c it will let me hit the Green River, Snake River, Grand Teton and Yellowstone (along with all the good water up that way). If you know of any scenic routes up that way please suggest them. We will be in no particular hurry for 3 months. Shtanks.

I've heard there are lots of sheep herds near Craig. :thumbup:
