This popped up on RCCrawler this afternoon, can't imagine much more than the driveshaft might be hurt.

We had a really big strom roll through last night that took out trees all over town. The local news station shared this one on Facebook today.

Edit: Another member of the local 4x4 club knows the owner and shared some pictures of it uncovered.

On the bright side, the tree is not on top of it.

Had he been parked on the other side of the tree it would be different story.

That scares me for my XJ and my Parent's T&C, my XJ is no longer my daily and the van can sit for a few days at a time without use, then there's a couple large trees in our back yard that would be in reach of both vehicles!

Just lop the tree off in sections and it may set the thing down gently; *may*. Either way I'm going to put my money on lowering the roots over raising the XJ.

It sure would be a helofa sight to walk out to in the morning. "Better make another pot of coffee Ma!"

Front locker? Pin it to win it.
 The obvious completely escaped me. Looks like I'd still be there scratching a hole my head.

hit the root ball with a water hose to get all the dirt out, then use a chain saw to trim it down piece by piece. Might want to take a minute to install a gas tank skid first.
