ok, so i got another infraction, this time for posting this in a non tech section instead of in a for sale section... lets try this again...
ok... this is the down low, i had a diamond audio D3 800.1 for a few years playing it hard with my image dynamics IDMAX which is easily 1200 watts RMS... to make a story short the 800 blew my sub, my local shop owner said the sub shouldnt of blown, i sent the amp in diamond couldnt fix it so they sent me a brand new diamond D3 600.1 in replacement claiming it was just as good. well i havent bothered to install it and im looking to go with a 1200-1500 watt amp instead.

if you goto http://www.woofersetc.com/p186/D3-60...-Amplifier.htm

the amp is 399 msrp and their price is 250 again mines still NIB. shoot me an offer.

would anyone be interested or should i try on craigslist, just seeing if anyone was looking for something like this before i parted with it.

No dual as in dual voice coil or DVC. wiring different number of voice coils to different numbers of amp channels gives you lower ohms. This site shows all kinds of options.

ya, just know unless your running it at 1 ohm, your not going to get the 600+ watts out of the amp... 2 ohms its 400 watts and 4 ohms only 200 watts. BUT this same kind of amp powered a sub that needed twice the RMS and made it pound. hey AJ tell ya what i have another amp identical to this one in my civic... if we unplug ur sub and put it on my amp you can see how it goes...
