Over the past year I have made several trips to a local junk yard and found some very useful, and very cheap items that are now on my XJ. I just thought I would write down a few things I got there so that I might brag a little...

4. Pair of Rusty’s 6” leaf springs $30.00
5. Pair of Rubicon Express 5.5” coils $20.00
6. JKS adjustable trac-bar and bracket $FREE
7. Pair of Rusty’s lower control arms $FREE
8. Pair of Rusty’s upper control arms $FREE
9. Rancho steering stabilizer shock $3.50
10. Rusty’s HD tie rod $FREE
11. ProComp T-case drop kit $FREE
12. 4 Dick Cepek shocks $14.00
13. Sway bar disconnects $FREE
14. Rear bumper w/ 2” receiver & tire carrier $32.00
15. XJ Dana 44 w/ limited slip $86.00

while we are on the subject. Those are great finds (many better than mine, not that I want to admit that because I WAS proud of mine).

What junkyards/pick a parts do you guys like for XJ parts?
The pick a part in Lynwood closed and the junk yard across the street from it (Hwy 99) is pathetic for XJ parts.
The two in Marysville are completely pathetic.

I know one in Olympia that used to be ok, but has very little left.

Just interested in which ones you guys like.

In Oly there are a few Yards scattered around. I found a nice Front Driveshaft at a Truck Junk yard down in Chehalis.

SouthHill Truck wrecking had a couple dozen XJ sitting around towards Puyallup.

AAA budget wrecking in Kent always has a few. Budget has several, but they're all rigs I've sent there AFTER relieving them of anything of any value
