There are no lifted XJ's in Chicago

Hey everyone, I just moved to Lombard, IL from the Los Angeles, and I have not seen a single lifted XJ but my own. Not only that, only seen one lifted TJ. Where the heck is everybody located?

There are not near as many lifted vehicles around here as you would find out west.
But then there are not near as many spots to wheel around here either.

I've seen two yellow, one silver and one green lifted/modded XJ's, this week alone. There are lots of lifted TJ's too, I probably see one or two on a daily basis.

I remember six years ago when I saw a lifted Jeep maybe on a monthly basis.

Mine's in the garage.

Lombard.... I'm up in Bloomingdale with a 6" lift, but it's garaged. A friend of mine is over in Glen Ellyn with a BB, and he's got a 3" lift ready to go on.

There are plenty around, both in the 'burbs and in the city. Many of them will gather at the traditional XJ get together known as Winterfest.
