The "you already have a relay box" Relay Box

The FSM doesn't put an amperage to them anywhere I've seen, only the fuse ratings.
This link has the most info I've ever found on them.
http://pewa.panasonic.com/assets/pcsd/catalog/cm-catalog.pdf

It lists it as 35/20A, I think they can open more than they can close, or something like that.
At 12v, math says a pair of 55w daylighters pull just over 9A.
If I get curious enough I'll throw a clamp on them.

But... If you're gonna load up a circuit, go with the bigger relays. Do the opposite of the swap I did and add a big bank to yours, because I know I've seen a mini ISO relay (the other real common slightly bigger ones) that said 70A on it.
That's a good find. I know it's not specific, but at least it gives you a ball park for the style. My XJ already had four full sizers in the PDC, and there wouldn't be enough locations for what it currently has to swap the Micros over to full size. I just added the last two empty slots in on the Micro section. I'm planning on using one to run a fog light harness, and the second to run a DRL harness I'm planning on doing. I have full sizers for the headlight harness, and for my driving lights harness I'm installing. Actually once I finish I'll actually have all the Maxi fuse locations allotted for, but one, and being my XJ is optioned out I only have one blank mini fuse location open.

I used the two blank spots for the 2nd stock e-fan relay and a relay to isolate the pcm from the e-fan manual switch(relay prevents cel on obd2s and allows the pcm to activate the fan if a/c compressor is on or 217* high temp seen, as normal), which is a JY rear wiper switch mounted to the right of steering wheel.

Good write up!, I was going to go the "make a new relay box" route and find somewhere to stuff it, but I like this idea better. I don't have ABS either, so that gives me the extra room like you did to do the same mod.
Thanks man!
