The FML Thread

Shouldn't be dropped for missng one class. Most schools (ok, the two I've been to) allow up to three missed classes before you're dropped. If you're really worried, contact the professor and let him know what happened.

Get notes from and any handouts off other students from the first class and pretend you were there and he just didn't catch you the roll call...;)

If its the first day of class you will usually be dropped unless you contact the professor in advance.

update: I'm still in.
You're lucky.

I drop anyone who doesn't show on the first day regardless of reason. There are way too many people trying to get classes in most schools to miss a class :twak:

john what do you teach?

Not lately :(

me either fml :(

now that we're back on topic.... I got called into the academic advisors office today at school and told that I might not be able to graduate cause they F'd up my scheduling and I'm missing a class I need to graduate. :hang:

The US debt ceiling is about to be hit. Anyone with investments or following the economy watch out. If the US defaults on its loans, a LOT of people are gonna say FML when their social security, army and other government checks don't come.
