My pictures from today. Got to wheel my XJ stock one last time before I start to build it up. Figures that I managed to get a little more body damage and tear up my exhaust a little.

Anyways, here's some pics!

Thanks for the pics Randy, I wish I could have meet you guys in person and did some wheeling. Way to show the group how it's done in a stock XJ. You can really make a YJ/CJ/Sam look bad with the nice XJ wheelbase and stock flexyness. Time for a Cat back exhaust!!! I just had one put on my 98' for $230 out the door in Sacramento, CA before moving out to Rockford. It sounds really nice with a 40 series Flowmaster!

Troy must have filled in under the tubes with the loader, we were there a few months ago and when we dropped in through the tubes, the XJ's hood dipped underwater!

it's been filled in for well over a year........i remember when it used to be very deep.....but since about mid 2005, it was definately filled in, and has been about the same since

hmm... we went through the left tunnel (as you approach), maybe it was dug out more on that side. It had been raining earlier as well.

My trip report:

I met up with xj4life and intrepidxj for some camping/wheeling at the Badlands in Indiana. The buggy is still down from the last trip, so I decided to take the YJ out. This was my first chance to wheel it.....and it was a lot of fun. I like the SWB. I like the super low gears in the NV4500. I like the TNT Customs coil conversion. I like not having to look over my shoulder every 2 minutes like I had to when I owned an XJ. I like the half doors. I like it.

Nice YJ in the parking lot. It didn't have any part of the factory frame left. It was all tube underneath. Pretty pimp.

I told Randy that his exhaust was hanging down. He said he knew about it....but when he went to back up off of the steep climb.....the exhaust folded onto itself and basically ripped off.

Hmmm....these mud holes are deep:

This is getting worse before it gets better:

Couldn't back out of it and even with a couple of guys pulling on a strap....it wouldn't settle.....so we hooked it up to another rig and it came right down:

A deer we found in the rock garden area. It was pretty scared, young, and weak. We just moved it over to a different area and let it be:
