I decided to get in contact with Wayne Hanson a while back and discuss bumpers. He is a good man and makes excellent products.

I like how the mounts give you the ability to adjust where it sits on your rig depending on how you want your winch to mount. Very sturdy in design and the flat pattern flame cuts are top notch, not to mention the welds.

Anyway, just thought I'd share.

What happened to the bumper AJ made for you? Just want something different?

Yep, pretty much. Kind of a long story, but AJ and I were going to work together on a newer, better design so I took off and sold my existing one. Right about that time he got sick and wasn't able to work together on a new one. I had trips comming up and whatnot, so I couldn't wait so I just got a Hanson. I also strongly considered a C-Rok bumper because they are very nice as well, plus Greg is also an excellent guy. There were just a few design characteristics on the Hanson that I favored.

I forgot to mention that AJ did build me a rear bumper when he got better. We got a chance to work together on it which was real nice. The actual bumper is just his regular rear receiver bumper, and then I designed a gas skid that ties into the bumper on the rear, and then the frame rails up front, as well as the bumper/receiver mounts.

My bumper puts your to shame and it didn't cost me anything. It's all about clearance and weight.

Yup, I was going to say it looked waxed. I thought you said you had a girlfriend now and didn't need to wax your axle anymore. :D

That is the dirtiest pic of phatxjs cherokee that I have ever seen in the last picture. I can't believe it!!!!

Dang! You go through bumpers like Imelda Marcos goes through Shoes!
