Texas inspection question

My jeepster has passed 3 inspections with nonfunctioning backup lights, and I've been told that they are not on the inspection list.
It's horn is currently activated by an on/off toggle switch, and according to my inspector as long as it works and he can reach it then it passes.

Nice!

How you been?

Well, I got mine inspected with out working back up lights this week. No problem. Thanks for the feedback people. Saved me a lot of unneeded grief in the cold weather this past week. Had enough trouble just getting the brakes to pass as it was. Anyway, all my jeeps are on the road legally again, LOL.:wave1:

Just for everyone's info, when I went and got mine inspected they told me that my windshield will have to be replaced before next inspection. They said that any chip bigger than a quarter will fail. They also said that all counties will have emissions inspection. This SUCKS!!!

What about texas registration, I cant seem to find my insurance card, however I know I have it. Do I have to show proof of insurance to get my jeep re-registered? It runs out at the end of this month.

Yes, you need proof of Insurance to renew registration. Call your agent, they may be able to fax or email one to you?
