how much lift do they give?

Kinda hard to tell, but measured them at 4.5" and stock XJ shackles are 3.125" so 1.375"/2 = a little less than .75" lift.

I think it depends how/where your spring eye ends up sitting in relationship to the upper pivot... My 6" pack has the eye & pivot almost vertical - the spring eye is behind the pivot by a little.
