Saturday, 10-13-07...that's this weekend! Oh no! It's at Hollister Hills SVRA.

I think it's like $5 to get in, maybe more if you tow, and I think if you want to camp you just pay for two days. I'm going to camp and I hope other people do too. There are camp sites, fire pits, even toilet facilities. You're not supposed to run after sunset, but if you're on a trail, it's ok to finish and go back to camp or leave. Don't drink and drive, but alcohol is allowed in the park unless you're a minor.

I'm planning on getting there around 10:00 Saturday morning and will head over to the obstacle course. My junk is green and white with trimmed fenders. I'm not good at meeting people so come say hi.

Based on previous trips, we'll hang around at the obstacle course a while and then go find some trails to run. Obstacle course has the squeeze rock, some little logs to drive over, I think a rig-sized teeter totter, a rock pile, and maybe some other stuff. There are easy trails, and if some people go run something harder, there will probably be seats open.

I do believe some people said they would probably go.

If you have never been to Hollister Hills Park before you need to go to the Ranger Station and Pay first, they will give you a combo to the gate and you can get a map of the park. Once you have the combo drive up the the School house gate and your in the park. If you don't pay they can fine you and kick you out of the park. Sycamore is the better camp spot, more trees and shade, but I am not camping so you can put your tent where ever you want.

do you guys think it'll be very muddy? I'm running some puny bfg AT's and they do surprisingly well when it's nice and dry. but any mud at all and they become slicks....
I'm all worried.
