T-case question

I had a question about the NP207 T-case, I know some of the earlier XJ's came with it and I was wondering if will bolt up to a 91 XJ that has a NP242? Is the bolt pattern the same?

It's not worth it. The 207 was meant for light duty/ low horsepower. You're H.O. would likely destroy it eventually.

Also, your '91 will have either a 21 spline auto or a 23 spline AX15 manual. Not sure what the 207 had, but you might find the answers here:
