STOP URBAN 4x4's!

watched that thinking it might be funny, but after seeing it, its just sad. I feel sorry for the little guys.
Yeah it was really funny for about the first few seals they knocked in the head, now...

...you just look like an asshole. lol :D

Your sick. Even the first couple, I just want to go help them. Bastards.

in their defence, those baby seals are man eaters, it was pure self defense. If you turn the volume up real loud you can even hear the hunters, or more accuratly the "hunted" yelling "theyre commin right for us!"

Your a sick sad excuse for a human.

Its hard to take an anti-suv website seriously when they bash jeeps, audis, and bmws...........but no h2 or suburban to be found anywhere on site.

edit i noticed it was a UK site. perhaps that has something to do with it.

LOL! Y'all believe this?

In October 2005, the British Medical Journal called for health warnings on 4x4s because of the dangers they pose for pedestrians, and when new test results were released in November 2005, the only car with a zero rating for pedestrian safety was a 4x4 - the Jeep Cherokee.

And this one made me laugh hard!

7. You might see a small child early enough to avoid backing over them

Big, tall 4x4s have far bigger rear blind spots than normal cars, making it impossible to see a child for more than 15 feet behind them, and much further for short drivers.

That's a lie right there. Even though I'm 6'5", I can't see for $#it out the back of my fiancee's '02 Toyota Camry, but I can see forever and a day out the back of my Cherokee.

relax, im not serious. Im no protesting animal rights activist but in no way do i find that right. Lighten up.
backpeddling now are you, you disgust me.

Lighten up dude, i'm kidding. Although I do feel bad for the little seals.

Under all that bizarre hippy greenpeace spewed, Sierra club crap, they actually do have a point.

90% of SUV drivers have absoutely no need for one. How many of us here bought a Jeep used, that was used the way we use them when we got it??

If they actually suceeded in getting 'usage' charges raised, do they honestly think more than a few people would select a smaller car??

The trouble with the UK is it is just too small a place for all the people that live there. I am sure that this sort of thing is the result of ever shrinking personal space.

I am familiar with dealing with the 'antis' now, but I can imagine they can be quite intimidating if a first time Jeeper is confronted by one or more face to face.

I drove through the City of London earlier in the year. My Jeep is usually covered in mud and it leaves Jeep droppings wherever it is parked. I had a driveshaft u-joint give up on me and I had to pull over at the side of a busy city street to change it. A huge crowd of cyclists on some charity event rode by and I was surprised to hear comments of praise like "Cool Jeep", "Nice to see one used as it should be". Not one of them said anything negative, a few even stopped to offer help. This was certainly not the reaction I was expecting.

I guess there are extremists in all walks of life, spreading their propaganda, trying to impose their will on others, some are even in government. Being born a British subject, I don't have the good fortune to enjoy a constitutional right to the pursuit of happiness, but it doesn't stop me acting as if I do. If I catch one of these 'Stop Urban 4x4' idiots putting one of their fake tickets on my Jeep they will land themselves a $370 fine for littering.
