i don't know the numbers off the top of my head, but i do know that the steel wheels like these
don't stick out as much on a cherokee as the canyon wheel, used on grand cherokee ZJs and some TJ saharas. that may be because the canyon wheel is a 15x8, but i don't know.
i have heard about people having to use wheel spacers when they put the rubicon wheels on an XJ. that may be because of tire size though.
liberty rims even fit on XJs. here's a picture for proof:
Liberty steelies have about a 5 3/4 back set, more than stock cherokee alloys. But they work with 225/75R/16's, which is where the tire market is going.

The Canyon rim used on the TJs with the 30" tire package is a 15x8 wheel. The similar wheel that was used on some years of the ZJ Grand Cherokee was a 15x7 wheel with the exact same backspacing (and therefore the same offset) as all XJ and YJ Wrangler rims.
