Still alive... barely...

Graduated to crutches today, from a walker ... nice ...

I think it unwise to hit a guy with a walker/crutches, they make VERY good weapons!!! lol Sounds like you guys had quite the adventurous weekend!!! Glad you all made it home safely.

Dang man, you know how to crash right!

I slapped the sand at 55+mph back in 2001, screwed myself up good, but nowhere near your wreck.

Keep a smile on your face, it does get better.

About the same time I bit it out at Houser dunes on a CR500. Couldn't walk and pissed blood for about a week after that one.

What really takes the cake, is this happened in my own fuc$&*g back yard... no glamour, like 'yeah, I was at Winchester Bay bombing a huge dune and caught a lip'... nope... back yard... 2nd gear... grabbed traction... shot myself into a tree... didn't even yard sale the quad... slightly bent handlebar... lol

I know how you feel. I did about the same thing on my KX250 in my yard back in 2010 minus the up in a tree part, spiral fractured my right wrist and left leg.

A good friend of mine once said "stupid hurts"... I agree 100%!!! lol

They say every cloud has a silver lining ... well, in my case, the silver lining is the fact that I have kicked the chewing tobacco habit, and have absolutely no desire to imbibe further!!! Yeah, me!!!

These are the only two xrays I have on computer for now... talk about some hardware, tho!

Great job kicking the tobacco habit!

Good Gawd, that is some pretty hardware ya got there! Are you going to need a permit to get that through the airport security scanner?

Eric

I just looked at your X-ray up close...

Might want to pull those down, remove your personal info from the corner and resubmit.

Eric

Thanks for pointing that out, Eric... but no info there that need be deleted... thx again for mentioning it!

Damn Keith.... looks like they even put a zipper in there for easy access!!!

LOL!!! That's what we thought at first, too!!! I was like 'Hmmm... maybe that's for tune-ups with the Dewalt!!! lol

Geez... did my xrays scare everyone away? lol

Nah, I'm still here, fresh out of surgery myself. I've got some surgical hardware from 2001 in a baggie. I think I'm making a necklace out of it. :-)

Unfortunately mine is all permanent ... necklace would be uber-cool! Guess I'll be able to predict the weather now.. or at least sense when it's gonna change ... built-in barometer...
