steering stabilizer mount options

I've been looking around at different methods of attaching steering stabilizers to the steering linkages and found that there are a few options. I'd like to know if there is any difference in putting the steering stabilizer on the tie rod vs. the drag link.... Should there be any difference? From what I can tell, it shouldn't matter, but I can't find a hard article on it saying that it does or doesn't matter. I know that if your angles are right, you don't need one, but I'd still like to put one on mine.

I have the Rustys tierod conversion with the wheel-to-wheel tierod and they told me to mount my new steering stablizer to the drag link. But if you go with the dual system the second stablizer does mount to the tierod.

i have JCRs "1-ton" steering and i have a bracket that bolts on using u bolts and i have my stock stabilizer attached to the drag link. the tie rod is too low in relationship to the stabilizer mount to get good geometry IMO.

I have the same steering setup and mounted the stabilizer to the draglink like the instructions stated. That was in March of last year. I just got done replacing the tierod end indicated in the picture below.

I moved the stabilizer mount to the crossover tie rod because I think the stress of the stabilizer killed that end in just 9 months of driving. I also noticed that now I get a lot less feedback through the steering wheel when I hit manhole covers and other pavement imperfections.

Thanks guys, I ended up going with it on the tie rod.
