Starting problems

Well im finally done with my 4 wheel drive conversion. Everything went well and everything works. One problem though. Whenever i go to start it and turn the key all the way it will only start sometimes. Now if i turn the key all the way and pull back on the gear shifter it will start. Is there some linkage i can adjust or something so i dont have to pull back on the shifter everytime i need to start it?

The neutral safety switch is a common problem. Do a search on NSS. There are lots of good writeups on cleaning and rehabing them. The cost big $$$ at the dealer. LOL
