Ok i've been doing some research, and i still don't really understand the whole RMS wattage thing. RMS is the wattage the speaker can take safely for a continous time right? So my question is can i use Pioneer TS-E1395 5.25" 3 ways (35w RMS) with my Pioneer 50Wx4 deck or would i blow the speakers out? Sorry if im a nooob to car audio:wierd:

Those speakers are rated at 160W maximum.

The idea behind RMS is a bit deep but like Lou said, its generaly regarded as the average power usage a speaker should get. However with the headunit they can be overrated, meaning they might on putout 50 watts at the max, not on average.
