No but literally, cut them down.....
2.5 + 3.5 you already = 6" and that will be a lot with short arms. You might run into the other problems XJ's have over that 4.5" mark. Death wobble, etc.
....you still coming on Sunday?
Dont rush it cause you dont want to do something wrong and have something break on the trail. Dont worry about looking low and sad because mine will be looking like that i have a saggy 5in and i am running 32s as well.XJNOOB93 said:How would I cut them? And how short should I do it?
I think I am coming.. I want to get these on though cus my jeep looks so low and sad.
Are they poly or metal? I have seen metal ones.........XJNOOB93 said:How would I cut them? And how short should I do it?

X2 On the PITA Took me forever to do and I ended up putting them on wrong(upside down) I took them off put them on right side up but then again they were wrong again.( I put them between the coil and the stock isolater and they needed to be between the body and the isolater but by the time I noticed that I was totally done putting everything back together and said screw it. So take your time, think and do it right.Skully said:Are they poly or metal? I have seen metal ones.........
If they are poly (i have done this in the past but it took time and precision) you can use a hacksaw and slow but them rotating the spacer. You just want to get back the 1" you lost and gain .5" right? I would try to cut off 1" on the top side not on the curved side the coil sits on.
If you lived close I would say stop by and I can help ya, you have to pop out the coils to get them on that is the PITA!
I might try and get them tomorrow. But dang, you live like an hour and 10 min. away.Skully said:Are they poly or metal? I have seen metal ones.........

Skully said:You didn't already buy them?
I would say if that is the case go for Xjmatt's instead.......$20 for a pair of 1" spacers, plus extra isolators That would get you back you lost and raise you .5", then you don't have to worry about all this cutting etc........
I know I live too far away
I was hoping someone closer to you would anti up and offer :greensmok
XJNOOB93 said:Stupid question, would I buy the isolators online? And I am thinkin Matt's deal is better.
I hope someone will help me haha
xjmatt; I've got 2 sets of black 1" spacers as well as a set of stock coil isolators. I used them before installing ACOS's. I'll sell them for whatever 50% off is so $20?
.........Not of coils spacersXJNOOB93 said:This look like a set??

Those look like bump stop extensions. Too small in diameter to be coil spacers.
This is what one looks like (take note it is a 2.5" spacer, not a 1") above that is the stock isolator;

Where did you get those from?
They are a little more involved because the axle has to drop that much further, or use a spring compressor.XJNOOB93 said:I think I already have a set of those. Maybe not.
They came with my lift. The guy who did it said its a pain in the arse to put them on.
