SOTM: What are you listening to ?

"Anywhere, anyplace, anytime" Nene & Kim Wild

You don't get more country than Robert Earl Keen. Listening to Levelland right now.

Unless of course you were talking about country pop, in which case you can keep it. :D

Ok, I agree! thats good music. No I HATE pop country, My iPod is full of mostly deep cuts from popular and not so popular artists.

I dig on the Ragweed

I like them as well but I had not heard them until recently, I like the song about Nashville, I use to live there and know how the song writer feels about that place.

Right on. If you like those, check out Reckless Kelly. Castenets

First I had heard of them and took a listen, Very Good

Ray Wylie Hubbard is one of the Kings

Ok but growing on me.

I listen to more traditional BG, this is my favorite, a local band called The Bluegrass Brothers

Five Finger Death Punch- War is the Answer

Ahh, well that explains your facebook status... :D

Yep! :D I can't believe i didn't buy the album sooner! Of course my brother used my iPod and lost the damn thing so i gotta use CD's for a while until I get another iPod! :smsoap:

So, I went and saw Animals As Leaders, Iwrestledabearonce, darkest hour, and the D i l l i n g e r escape plan last night. Excellent lives show throughout. I wasn't a fan of IWABO until I saw them play live, great performers. As for Animals as Leaders, they played an excellent set, I never heard of them until last night, and they are an instrumental hardcore band, amazing. As for Darkest Hour they were great, out of place w/ the rest of the bands on the tour, but still awesome. D i l l i n g e r played amazing like usual!

Tuesday afternoon - Moody blues

I'm listening to "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground" by Chris Thile. Awesome bluegrass artist.

EDIT: song just changed, now I'm listening to "40 Miles From Denver", possibly one of the best songs from Yonder Mountain String Band

I love Yonder and that cover of dead leaves and the dirty ground is awesome.

Yeah, Yonder is one of my favorite bands. I was fortunate enough to see them live in august here in Denver. They're absolutely amazing in concert :~)

Right on, I have a few buddies who have moved to the denver area. I missed them in Louisville in february because I forgot about it! I was hoping on being out there this summer sometime but I really want to attend the Cherokee Crawl in Harlan, KY and I am going to see my mom in Florida in June.
