Sorry Ed - some things just have to change

Recently, Ghost and I have been fighting (a lot of it only seen in the SEC BOD forum). Mark just let me know that Ed was getting ready to resign as the SEC President (I already had resigned as the Mod around here) so I just wanted to say that I'm sorry....







to ED!!

Recently, Ed graciously donated his shop, his time, his tools and his house (plus, he cooked some mean burgers) to help build the new XJ for Rusty. We decided that after this latest act of awesomeness, in conjunction with all the other stuff he does for our chapter, we would give him a little gift. What better way to give someone a gift than get them worked up first?? We really had him going!

Mark told us that he's been needing a set of nutstrips so he could install his gas tank skid so we went ahead and bought a set for him. We thought that it would be better to get him something that he could use forever instead of a certificate or a plaque that can get lost or put in storage in the attic.

So, thanks Ed, for all that you've done for our chapter and for really helping turn it around. Your latest act of awesomeness really shows how great of a guy you are.

1----I can finally stop hearing about Ed "needing to order stuff, but waiting to see about med bills first."

2----Y'all had him all worked up last night. I couldn't watch my show for him talking right through it (sounds familiar, huh?).

Thanks you guys from the bottom of broken leg and ED's BIG OLE SOFTY HEART! You guys seemed to find us ok, so let us know when ya need something else wrenched on. A full shop of peeps is a very happy ED!

I finally got a chance to talk to Mark about what you guys did. I will tell you I take the job of guiding the SEC seriously and have really tried hard to keep things flowing and enjoyable around here. Today my heart was racing, I was frustrated and all I could think of it that I don't need this stress. I tried to sort some things out and what one person said didn't match what others heard. I figured there was a huge misunderstanding somewhere.

You guys got me really good today and I'm glad it was all a joke. I was ready to say "I give" when Mark came over with the nutstrips. I really appreciate them and my fuel tank says thanks too.

I got "Punked".

Well I see im not the only one yall will pick on and tell things later..lol Thank You Ed for all you have done for me and my family. Thanks for letting the guys use your shop for the build. Your Awesome Man.
