For that price, the seller most likely had a full mailbox, started looking for a high bidder.

i sent him 2 emails, first one was like 6 hours after he listed...bastage never replied:twak:
even said "have cash and a trailer"

Yeah, if the guy got a flood of e-mails..... he probably re-thought his price and did a bidding war, or decided to wait a while and re-list it at a higher price.

troy if you bought this would you let me buy it off you for 1500?

I might have considered that...... but it's either been sold or the guy is holding out for more money. I don't have the money anyway......

or it's a scam (no phone number)

or it's a scam (no phone number)

just because it didnt have a phone number doesnt mean its a scam...i never put my number out there on craigslist, you get too many wackos calling you at all times, i prefer to screen them via email before i give out a number to call

I just said that because the auto section of the Worcester, MA area CL has roughly 75% of it's car sales being scams, like 80% of the legit ads list phone numbers

With just proxied email communication there is no tracability if you got scammed

I do not see how you can be scammed on buying a car online (Craigslist) unless you are pre-purchasing it with out seeing the vehicle.

I would never buy a car with out actually physically seeing it first and hand to hand exchange of the paperwork?

Crimzon316 = if you bought this would you let me buy it off you for 1500?

There is something fishy about the deal and the fact he won't even respond to any messages............ There is other deals out there........

Many of those are used to obtain information. A name to put with a working phone number is a start.

I've also heard of people getting an address to look at a car and then stealing it when the owner is not home.

I allways wonder if the next email is a legit person.

That's why I always do my CL transactions at King Soopers down the road, or meet them, or...
