On the subject of splitting the chapter.
This has aways been a possibility, but ONLY if a area of the current chapter decides, with the affected members, that they want to form thier own chapter. As always, it rests with the affected members, I do not see us "kicking out" anyone from this chapter.
On the subject of BOD actions.
We have a recorder, his responsibility is to distribute information concerning what the MWC BOD has done, or is doing. As Tyler pointed out MWC BOD meetings are rare, this is the nice part of our chapter, it really runs itself. I do like the idea of providing a regular update to the membership of our current status, and what we are working on. Look for progress on this no matter who wins the open spots. I will start the process of getting this done.
On the subject of endorsements.
I will not endorse anyone for any position. This is due to the wish that the members vote without any extra influence, maybe it is conceded of me to think that my endorsement would matter, but I just ain't gonna do it.
We are very lucky in this chapter to have so many people willing to step up and help the chapter, WF is a prime example of this. Without the non-BOD volunteers WF would just not happen. We are truly lucky.
I will finish with the reminder that this is NOT a popularity contest, vote for the persons that YOU think will do the best job for YOUR chapter. We (the BOD) work for you, not the other way around. I will always be available for any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. Many of you have my cell number, and if not I check my PMs several times a day, I am never to busy for any of the members, never.
