Of course... my inlaws will be in from Ohio :bawl: Are the trails up there "stock XJ" friendly? Still no luck on stock rear leaves to do the BB on the XJ.

yea they are very stock freindly, i am stock. you dont have to go where you dont want to. if theres something bad you dont want to go through theres always a way around. hope to see you guys there.

How bad is the water that time of the year??? I kept trying to get down there last year, and it seemed like it was always flooded.

The water had been bad prior to when I went there at Christmas but only at the bottom by the lake. I am completely stock 2001 with 235's AT's and I had a great time. However is the water is bad when you get there you may have some problems as the ruts out of the parking lot will swallow a stocker. Once you get past that its all good and loads of fun. The south side by the lake is great with some high slopes and tight trails. Wish I could go!:rattle:

just a reminder if anyone is interested. a week from today we'll be at solon. probably be gettin there around 9am or so, maybe a little earlier. if anyone needs directions or anything just ask.

hey guys, i live in Iowa City and solon is our local clubs stomping ground. anyhow i been wanting to hook up with some of you naxja guys,( i couldn't make it to Attica because of my kids tournament) and it figures my jeep is down and out for now. should be a fair amount of mud this weekend, but there is a way around most of it, and the lake(resevoir) has been down for several days but it will still be pretty muddy down along the creek that empties into the lake. if you make it over some other time maybe we can hook up. by the way, there is only about 150 acres or less to wheel on, we wish we still had 600 hundred to wheel on. good luck, and safe travels, Scott

cool man, hope you can make it down. so far i think i might be the only naxja guy going as you can tell from this post, but theres about hopefuly 20 or so more vehicles going that i know of from other websites. i think. we are gonna get there around 9 or so, maybe earlier. if you want my number you can give me a ring. email me at [email protected] or send me a messege on aim or yahoo for it.

sounds like a good size group comin over. hey while we are on the "600 acre" subject. anybody know any good land use experts? seems the local Quad clubs and possibly others are working behind our backs to make our one and only public off road park off limits to Jeeps and any other 4x4's!!!!( even though there are plenty of "quad and motorcycle only areas in our state) our club president and whoever else can, has to go to the state capitol to fight for our rights, really sucks. last i checked ,hell rubber touching the ground is the same no matter what the vehicle.
