It's looking like we'll be getting some snow at the end of the week. This is going to make me want to take the drive up to LBL and play around.

I hope to god you get some effin snow already...as much as you've been snippy with me about what we got last month :D

I'm headed to Raleigh to chill with a buddy Thursday night-Friday...might make for a fun drive!

Winter storm watch in effect from late Wednesday night through thursday afternoon, The NWS in nashville has issued a winter storm watch, which is in effect from late Wednesday night through Thursday afternoon.
Timing, 4 am cst Thursday to 6 pm cst Thursday Main impact, 2 to 4 inches of snow accumulation, followed by blowing and drifting snow. The snowfall will stick to road surfaces with no melting, and strong northwest winds will cause a period of blowing and drifting snow. This will cause travel problems or delays across the mid state.
Other impacts, another surge of arctic air will move into the mid state in the wake of the system and will drive temperatures into the single digits Friday night, with wind chill readings below zero.
Precautionary/preparedness actions,
A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.

Sorry BA this is for Rutherford County!!!!!!!

I just use salt water. It works the same.
no it doesn't. when you see icebergs, they are freshwater, but it's because the salt settled out as it froze. put some salt water in your freezer and watch what happens. also, salt is rather corrosive to be in contact with your already rust-prone cast iron engine parts....:dunno:
