Exactly as it says, I'm looking for a shop in Indiana capable of re-tubing a HP44 from a 79 bronco. I've got a guy trying to sell me this axle with 4.10s and a Trutrac for $100, complete from tire to tire. I know about the cast radius arms, but am having a hell of a time trying to find a hp44 with out them for anywhere close to what I can get this one for. I've already contacted Moser, and they can't do a 44, any suggestions?

you might give checkered chasis a call out of bedford. hes mainly a race shop but he narrows axles all the time. im not sure if he can retube.
if i had my guesses i bet he would.
i dont know the number off hand tho. ill talk to my buddy and see if he has it.
good luck

you could try extreme 4x4 in elletesville...they welded up my spring perches and welded up my truss...im sure they could help you out...kinda pricey though

Roxtar here on NAXJA could probably help you out. He's a great guy to work with. He's in Crown Point, IN. Might be a bit further than you want to go. :dunno:
He's converted to a Rover guy but the MWC still claims him. I would not hesitate to let him wrench on my junk.

Guy over at Pirate gave me a lead on Branik Motorsports in Fort Wayne. I checked out their web site, and it looks pretty promising.

Branik Motorsports

Call them 260-467-1808

they carry regular m-f 7 - 3 or 4pm hours...sometimes around after hours and will answer the phone, just depends.
