I hope the boys watched Philly wipe Sid the Kid's nose into the ice this afternoon and decide to attempt the same thing with Getzlaf and Pronger and Parros and Selane.

Come out hard and get those Ducks! Get the tank rockin. Leaving for the game at 3:45 and thanks to the magic of XM sat radio will be listening to Vancouver play the Blues!

Well so much for the high hopes.
 
yeah it's definitely a 'WTF!" situation now. Joe Thorton in a locker room interview stated he liked the way the Sharks were playing. Really Joe? There were at least 14K people that were less than impressed.
 
You all need to look at the positives:
Sharks set a new record for longist shout out streek in franchise history.
Sharks have had 12 Power Plays.
12.7 percent of NHL teams that have lost the first two games of their playoff series have come back to advance.
That was Lemieux's 233rd playoff game.
Only 4 more wins!!!

The positive was a great season, no doubt and I got good entertainment value for my dollar.

Patrick must really be hurt. Joe Thorton is being double teamed. Hiller is hot right now.

I fear they may be turning into the Phoenix Suns of the NHL. Great regular season. Fun to watch. Score a crap load of points but come playoff time they don't have the intestinal fortitude to get it done.

Hahaha.... it's funny cause it's true!

All hope is not yet lost.

But, Sharks need to figure out why they cannot operate in front of the Ducks net like they are used to. They rarely get the rebounds, and cannot seem to get any space at all in front. They have wya more shots than the Ducks, but many are from low % areas.
 
I actually watched a good portion of that game and was rooting for the Sharks because you all, "my peeps" are in love with them. Is it normal for one team to get so many power plays and not do anything with it?
