shaky reverse

ok after installing my clayton long arm x member everytime I put the trans(aw4) in reverse the jeep shakes and sounds like my 4.0 just converted to a cummins. It still drives in reverse and all the foward gears fine but if you go from reverse to nuetral the cummins diesle sound remains but no vibe. Once you shift to any foward gear everthing is smooth and quiet. The x member is perfectly lined up with the factory one and I dont have the long arms attached yet( just wanted to get the x member installed so I could get to work) any ideas

The exhaust is probably rubbing on the crossmember!Check the condition/movement of your motor/trans mounts!

So I went to check the mounts when I got home from work and everything was smooth no more noises.I checked all the mounts anyways, with the wife giving it some gas in reverse with the brake on and everything looked solid. It apears that all of these things only happen when the Jeep is cold because it all started again this morning. I hate this kind of crap :flamemad:
