Sellin' the Jeep

Wow, Billy that's some serious news. You have a nice rig there. I hope you get another xj or mj and keep up your website. Maybe someone will buy it as a Christmas gift.

That's cool. Yeah your rig looks like its about done. What are you planning to do with the next 1? What year are you looking for (pre 97' or older than 97')? Make it more of a dd/wheeler with 33's etc or another full width. The guy I got my CJ buggy from wants my XJ axles for his ZJ and might be setting up my hp 44/9" under my XJ soon. Here's a pic of it, I know not the best quality, but I think he shot it at night:

Next rig will probably be an older XJ (early 90s) and will be trail only. More tube, less sheetmetal.

Sounds good. There are so many parts for the older ones floating around. Man the XJ line has been a long one. To bad Jeep pulled the plug on the XJ, I know it could have stayed around longer, the Libertys don't look like they are selling to good and they look to much like the Rav4, Kia's, etc. Oh well, why do you want to sell yours? You have a very extreme almost trail only XJ right now? Do you want to go a different direction with it? What axles, gears, lift, etc were you thinking of? I suggest the hp44/9".

Who uses XJ parts to build an XJ? :laugh3: I need a vehicle to drive clients around in, since I'm going to be selling real estate next year. I'm excited to build a rig without my first worry being about legalities and doing 70 on the freeway.

Get a ZJ, 4.0, easy to work on, you already know the drivetrain, classy w/o being 'hummerish' and they never go out of style. Plus you can show the prospective customer any 'north40's' that are listed :D Plus you can keep your hand in, nice OME kit, ARB front bumper, etc...
Nothing says class better than a nice set of AT/KO's and a leather interior :D

I hope it does go through and you sell it, I know you and Sara can use the $ starting off. I need to sell 2 of my jeeps. I know this is a XJ site, but I 2nd Rich's advice. A ZJ is very nice and you can really build them too, plus you have the luxury items, more interior space, more wheelbase, and nice coils on all 4 corners. I really like my 98' ZJ dd. :)

OR, he can get some car and find the 2-dr XJ that his sig says he's looking for.

Now that you've sold the Jeep, start selling houses.
