My hood has the special 2000 XJ finish, you know the one that means that all the black paint must peel off! I would like to find a replacement, black hood in good shape. Though my hood has no dents or scratches, the paint is simply curling up and dying. I have been told by several folks that even if you sand properly and prime, it will not stop unless you go down to bare metal overall. Rather not put that much time into it. A quick switch would be preferable.
