These 3 letter acronyms completely dominate
and every other Jeep forum. I'm betting the number of relivant threads with "CPS" in the title instead of "Crankshaft Position Sensor" or "4.0" vs. "Powertech Inline six" out number threads with searchable key words by oh just guessing.... 5000 to 1?
The 4 letter minimum makes no sense... Especially when there was a time when 3 letters worked and the minimum was 2 letters...
Try searching for TPS when you are fighting against time to get your XJ's new TPS calibrated so you can get to work. is a powerful resource and huge database of Jeeping know how... But the most common expressions which are used in probably 99.9% of all discussions here are not useable in a search.
I know there are ways around this mostly having to do with sifting through lots of results using extremely generic search terms. But how much extra resources are really going to be used if 3 letter words are allowed?
