Sand Lake Weekend

Yeah, The Sand is the only area I know I'll miss the power of my zj. But the ironic side of that is I'm buying a late model and then a raptor 700r to fill the gap!

After I got out of the atv thing I bought my red jeep with plans of something like this.

What's the plans for the ZJ? You could make it a detracted sand toy. Keep it super simple and convert it to 2wd. That way you have no front axle to break. Leave about 3-4" of lift and those big flairs get some used 360/80 shocks for the front 255/70 rear and some medium size paddles.

Plan for the zj is to make it last thru the year while I DD a stock late model. I'm planning on doing some online shopping on black Friday for the XJ and making the turkeyday run the last trip for the zj!

Already stock piling xj parts. 150amp alt/brown dog mounts/stereo gear etc etc

It would be pretty cool, there was a guy in Cali I bought a fender from that did that with his XJ. A ZJ would be more fun, but I wouldn't really want to have something with a whole lot of power reliant on a uni-body. As it is I will have to beef up the frame some on my Jeepster, I'm not saying that it can't be done, I just wouldn't want to do it myself.
