Saline, MI

Anybody here from Saline or somewhere near it? Can ya tell me what its like? Looking at applying for a job up there and want to know what the town is like. Thanks.

I grew up in Ann Arbor and lived there until I was 18 so I'll tell you what I know of Saline. Ann Arbor is the home of the University of Michigan and is a pretty decent sized town. Very liberal, trendy, all in all a nice place to live. Saline used to be a small town outside of Ann Arbor but is starting to become somewhat of a suburb of Ann Arbor. I havent been out that way in a long time so I'm not sure what its like now. But I think its still pretty strong in its small town roots. But that whole area is really great I think: good schools, relatively low crime, cost of living might be a little high, lots of things to do. And the whole state of Michigan offers some great outdoor activities.
