Can we turn on the RSS features of VBulletin please.

It will not only help everyone stay current but will open the door to many more people finding the forum and joining.

RSS is built into Safari, which is mac's Web Browser. I'm good to go, just never seen anyone on a pc request it. I'd venture to guess most PC users don't even know what it is. The mac users do just for the fact it's a part of their system..............

I'm sorry, I still don't get it (and I've been in IT for 28 years). How is this going to enhance my Jeeping experience?

NAXJA seeks and exists to serve responsible XJ/MJ owners and enthusiasts who want to participate in XJ/MJ related events, and/or XJ/MJ owners who are looking for technical help/support in the troubleshooting, care, daily maintenance, repair, restoration or modification of their vehicles.

How does an RSS feed do this? Seems like a cool geek toy that one would find on: http://www.broadbandreports.com ( ? )

You will hear (often) around the forums here at NAXJA that one must learn driving skills before modifying their rig - perhaps this (good) advice should be heeded before making suggestions for improvement?

But, I am only a humble servant, my opinion is my own.

By the way, welcome to a great club! Sit down and watch long enough - there's some GREAT experience in these threads.

Wow I am new to jeeps and I am enjoying all the knowledge and information here. However I know about the internet and websites and feel I can make suggestions whenever I feel the need. I am sorry you are resistant to new technology and change.

I maintain please check the RSS box. :flipoff:

I read the posts that I WANT to read - no not every one and not every day 'cause there's life outside the Internet (really!) . If it takes me hours, so be it! There are a LOT of us that feel this way.

I'm far from resistant to new technology and change (I'm an IT guy, you don't need to lecture me on that one! :) ). This group is so diverse that the concept of "Keep it simple" is better suited for everyone. Perhaps you might speak to your local Chapter's president. They have a direct line to the board of directors and can take appropriate action to implement forum change when proven beneficial to the group as a whole.

I don't know if you intended the "flipoff" Smiley Icon to be associated with the single digit salute or not. If you did, I bid a warm welcome to you also and look forward to slamming the door in the Den.

Enjoy!

Typically an advertisement of either one's Intelligence Quotient -or- human parent count.

If you took the Yin and Yang smiley to be a "flipoff" I apologize I meant it as symbol of the two sides of this argument.

I thank you for the welcome.

It also seems that there are some technical issues going on with the forums at the moment, i don’t expect that I will get RSS anytime soon. (This not meant as an insult to the people running the forum it’s just how it is, you are all doing your best I know)

You should try RSS it really will make your hours of time here much shorter and you won’t be loosing anything. It is a very handy tool especially for keeping up with IT stuff.
