It looks really bad Tennessee and southward, we are expecting a lot of heavy rain here. I canceled the trail ride I was leading for tomorrow just in case it gets rough tonight.

Anybody have any reports out of the south?

Reported tornados in Southeast Middle TN. Sun is shining in Murfreesboro.

its been raining good since noon here in Knox..

We had several inches of rain but no wind damage or anything.

It wasn't too bad, I spent most of it pulling a tcase, the rain through the bed/cab gap was annoying though

Nice pics...
We had a bunch of rain and pretty strong winds here in Chattanooga, but nothing too bad.

A bunch of rain and a 2' diameter tree behind neighbor's house blown down. Fell onto their house but didn't do any major damage it seems as there was no water coming in. Other neighbor behind them wasn't so lucky as when it cracked off about 8' up the trunk came down and landed in the bed of his late 90's dakota.

Thank goodness nothing like they said we were going to get. Yesterday morning they were saying that we could expect strong winds, severe storms, large hail and tornadoes. Thankfully we only got wind and rain with occasional thunder.

It wasn't as bad as they thought it would be here either, we just had some much needed soaking rain all night. I guess I canceled my trail ride for no reason:(

Looks like Louisiana and Mississippi got hit the worst

There is a road behind my house called Culbertson. The creek which I believe is Mill Creek has turned into a huge pond. I am in no danger of being floaded, but it is incredible. I'll try to get some pictures up in a bit.

Yah part of I24 here between murfreesboro and nashville was flooded so bad that semi's engines were completely submersed. That hasn't happened since the late 70's.

YIKES!!!
That doesn't sound good...

We're just now getting some steady rain, that they've called for all weekend
...was out riding seadoos on the TN river for a few hours this afternoon; it was fun, as the strong winds made the water real choppy, we had plenty of waves to jump! Lol

There's a link to the local news with tons of pictures and videos of the damage and massive flooding. Downtown lebanon was under 2ft of water today and nashville alone has measured 15" of rain in the past 24 hour period. And it showed pictures of cumberland river downtown by waterfront stage and the entire waterfront area was completely underwater.
