Pro-comp springs have a high spring rate so they ride rough naturally. What shocks you running?

The drop brackets would help, yes, but it will still be a little on the stiff side due to the spring rates.
 
Mine pulls at times and sometimes it does not pull. I run equal lengths on both sides.

I am running Rusty's tierod conversion as well. I just got my GoFerIt inserts the other day and will be doing OTK soon, at that time I will address the "rolling" of the tierod ends with a poly bushing on the passenger side.

I am running what ever it was that came with the kit still.

And that explains alot. I think its time to find some softer springs. Any advice?

Also will this kit work with my ProComp Lower arms.
 
I installed these awhile back and when I was taking off the drivers side alignment shoe, both threads broke off.

Does anyone know where I can get one?

X2, grind down the studs, then punch out, and you will end up with 2 square holes per shoe. I just used bolts and nuts as well.

I just finished my install and have driven to work & back and the difference was astounding!! It's wierd but my XJ is even quieter on the highway and the handling & bump absorption is remarkable! The hammering and thumping is long gone.
I wish I would have done this sooner...

Lovem as well! Had them on for a while with my 4ish lift. Now that I have 5.5" its even better cuz I was able to keep my fixed LCA(16") and the stock UCA. Driving manners the T*TS!
 
Well I got mine installed a few weeks back and I am not impressed. The things still all over the road. I did like the instructions stated and reinstalled my stock lower arms and set the caster adjustment the same as it was from stock. I also did that when I had the longer lowers from my 4.5" kit. It drove like $hit, the wheel would not return to center and was all over the road. I figured the caster was way low so untill I could get it to in for an alignment I just adjusted them all the way forward for more caster and set the toe with a tape. It drove better but not what I expected, So off to the alignment shop.
Come to find out all they could do was set the toe and center the steering wheel and charge me 49.95 about 20min of work.

Alignment specs as of now.
left front right front
-0.22 deg camber -0.22 deg
3.38 deg caster 4.46 deg
total toe 0.12"
What should I do?
Should I reinstall my lowers from my lift to get more caster.(I got a deg finder and can check my caster my self now)
my next mods are going to be 10" travel 5150's (In the mail as I type) 1 ton steering, adjustable track bar and new 3" rear leaf packs (unknown brand as of now)

Any ideas?

Drop brackets won't help steering issues. Steering parts help steering issues.

Drop brackets correct suspension angles, and improve ride.

If you are adjusting caster the best way I've found is to adjust the UPPER control arms to 3/4" SHORTER than the LOWERS.

You'll notice that all of the measurements given for upper and lower CA lengths with various lift heights always have the uppers adjuster 3/4" shorter than the lowers.

Just an "FYI" for adjusting caster.

X2, your problems do not sound like they are from the drop brackets but rather from a steering issue.
