I wouldn't have it any other way. All 3 dogs in my life have been from the Denver Dumb Friends League. The wife's cat came from a Maxfund shelter.

It truely is sad to see what people have done to some of the animals you meet in the shelters..... makes you wish you had more room and time.

Thanks for the info - Mariah's Promise does have quite a few great looking dogs. Two very handsome male Shepherds, just no females. Kinda far for us to go, but if nothing pans out in town, I'll be sure to give a call and see if they have any others not mentioned on the site.
